Working Group

A group of officers or stakeholders that performs detailed analysis, coordination or implementation within an agreed scope.

Example: The working group does the work that the steering committee later sees on slide 7.

Also known as: WG, work group, workgroup

Context: A working group commonly reports to a steering committee, senior sponsor or another formal forum.
